Robert M. Broderson (1920-1991) was a prolific painter born in West Haven, Connecticut, served in the US Air Force during WWII, educated at Duke University and the State University of Iowa, taught art at Duke and North Carolina State University. To say art was Robert's life would be an understatement, a true artist in every sense of the word, with one look at his subject matter and you'll understand what I mean. This piece is an oil on paper, it is matted and framed under glass, the painting itself is 5x4 inches, its overall size is 18x16 inches counting the frame. It's a beautiful piece and if your a fan of Robert's you'll love it. This piece like all the art I have listed was retrieved from my aunts home in New Orleans in October 2005 after Hurricane Katrina flooded New Orleans in late August 2005.
